The zipper for your handgun actually locks clothes so the zipper will not accidentally come open. The CON of the purse that I did not even think about and tell my boyfriend pointed it out it's not made for left or right handed person as a concealed weapon purse I just got lucky if you throw the shoulder strap over your left shoulder in the bag is on your right hand side the zipper is on the back side of your hip where you cannot get to your pistol quickly and if you throw it over the right side ,a right-handed person will be able to unzip it quickly and get to the pistol, because the zipper will be behind you. That is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five stars.
